Hey!

Thank you for your question, here are my answers:

  1. As you can see on the picture, the crawler tries to get the coordinates (latitude and longitude) of the event and writes out to the database (lat & lon columns). After Facebook-event-crawler created the database, you can easily create a map with markers. Here are the examples: Lealet with Open Street map or Google maps

  2. Yeah, that would be a cool feature. I think you need to add new columns to the database to store filters because you can run Facebook-event-crawler twice with other filters, and there will be a mixed database. So you just need to separate every search by saving the filters also.
