I think xpath traversing instead of regex might be the best way to handle this.

I don't disagree, but someone else would have to step in and do that work. I've literally never touched xpath, and I don't feel lesser for it. I could certainly come up to speed, but not in any kind of responsive timeframe.

Can definitely understand that. I've used it a couple times, I'll see what I can come up with in my down time over the next couple weeks.

Mimosa pretty well consumes my spare time, and I don't have a problem with that. =) But this module is a super nice distraction that gets me off the web.

I can certainly look at a regex solution a some point in the near future and if a xpath one arrives and does it better, I'd be happy to replace one with the other.

My fork of the project now has a docx extraction process written using xpath. Passes all the tests and cleans up all the issues I was having with specific documents. I think it became part of my other pull request.. If that's not the usual "git" way and I should be doing something different please let me know!

Mimosa looks pretty cool. I might have to try it out for a future project (currently using Meteor).

Thanks! Mimosa is definitely taking up all my time, but once 1.0 is out the door I hope to be able to spend more time on projects like this. Hopefully you can see by my activity there I'm not the open source deadbeat my activity on textract might make me out to be. =)

Ideally in the next week I can set aside an hour or three to take a good look at your PR (and its ok its all bundled together, I can deal) and either pull it in or have some back and forth with you to make any small changes.

Thanks!!!

Sounds good to me. Definitely don't think you're an OS deadbeat lol I'm pretty noob to OS contributions.

PS added XLSX extraction yesterday! :)

Closing this out as it seems to be addressed with your PR.
