This is a known issue. The problem is that the build script is non-trivial and the new Cabal 1.18 API changes broke it. I've been deferring fixing this until the bindings are in a more complete state. How hard would it be to downgrade your cabal?

Having some difficulties in building this on my a Linux Mint VM. I had to
add an include file in c_src. "FL/fl_types.h" which is an include from
"Fl_Types.h"

@deech Any progress on this? Your CPlusPlusBindings example won't compile due to missing compBuildOrder.

Yes, fltkhs should just work with stack install now. Unfortunately the other repo you linked is unmaintained so no effort has been made to keep it updated with the latest version of Cabal. If you are using it for something please open an issue on that repo and I'll do my best to get it working again.

Closing as this issue is now fixed by requiring Cabal >= 1.20.
