Would you be able to clarify what you mean by YIN? Which enum do you think could be removed?

Our current FFT implementation is admittedly very slow. Assuming TarsosDSP has a faster implementation then it would definitely be worth looking at converting it to that.

The Note enum (and related classes) are also used for displaying the actual notes, their names, as well as their related symbols (sharp, flat, etc) so I'm not sure if that can all be replaced by that library.

Time has been a bit tight so we haven't gotten a chance to try implementing it yet, however it does look like it would be a better solution to what we have now.
