Okay, fine. I'll reopen, if y'all promise me to stop posting comments but using the thumbs-up-reaction instead, okay? ;)

Please, can this be implemented?

Closing in favor of #1.

Both #1 and (this) #29 were closed and (unless I'm missing something) the contextual menu is not implemented.

@denschub:
Sorry if im zombiefying this.
I would like to add a use case/arguments for reopening this:
Suppose i have a tab that i want to move from my current to another group.
I will have to perform the following steps:

  1. Open group menu
  2. unfold respective group
  3. select tab (+ scrolling)
  4. drop tab to different group (+ scrolling)

That would be 4 steps including scrolling if my groups have many tabs.
Additionally, dropping a tab into another group automatically switches to that group.
So if i just want to get a tab out of the way and stay in the current group, i have 2 additional steps to do: open menu and select the group originally opened.
Thats kinda uncomfortable.

Thus, I'd like to suggest implementing a context menu as well.
So wie can select a tab, send it to another group and be done with it in 2 steps (+ expanding mouseover menus). Personally i think this would greatly add to the ease of use of this otherwise great addon.

Arf! I never realized you could do as @fllp wrote above; went back to Quicksaver's add-on for that reason (couldn't move tabs between groups) for the time being. I bet my mind is glued to « start from the tabs » for any tab-related action; and that's only reinforced by using Tree Style Tab --which makes the TabGroups stand too far away anyway.

Like @grahamperrin I'd really like to have a contextual menu too. 👍
