I apologize for having very little idea of what I'm talking about, but I love the elegance of Simplified Tab-groups, especially compared to the original Panorama, and immediately felt the need to be able to move groups between windows myself.

Will it be possible to perhaps to "just" share all tab-groups between all open Windows?

I mean to say that the tab-groups list will display the same set of groups from every open windows (of the same profile) and any window can switch between any of the groups that aren't already open elsewhere (perhaps they can be greyed out).

I'd personally love use a functionality like that! 😃

Glad to hear you like my work, really appreciate it. I have already opened issue #5 for that. :)

Edit: Oh well. Maybe I should have checked the issue before writing. 😳 Yeah, you already found the right issue already, this is coming!

To add to this, I suggest it would be beneficial to merge per-window groups and separate them from individual windows entirely into a persistent sessionless database of tabgroups where any future and past windows are just methods to browse the tabs within.

Currently having the groups tied to a window means if I lose the window, I lose the tab groups, with no backups.
If saved independent, I could have a clean and empty browser, open a bunch of separate windows and load any group I want into any of them, and arrange to my liking on large/multiple monitors.
An added benefit would be automatic group backups.

I'm currently in the progress of migrating from the unusably buggy tabgroups manager and this seems like the best alternative.
But I do need my tabs to reliably be there after accidental close/crash.
