Numbers are arbitrary. Do the particular feeds have intact date/time stamps? I could opt for something along the lines of

yyyy-mm-dd HH.ii.ss Title

But then again, that would be really, really long... nah, skip this.

Second idea: Maybe a collision detection? I could scan the feed for duplicate titles and rename them with numbers or letters of the timestamp :-) or something.
