Seems like it will have very limited usage, don't want to add another button for that reason.
I could just add it to the time drop list, will that suffice?

Personally, I think a "delete messages" button would be great. It would probably get used the most, out of all the GUI mod buttons.

Ultimately, it's your call, just giving a mod's perspective.

Sztanpet, is it possible to have a 1ms mute? If so...

To add a "delete messages" button, which actually mutes the person for like 1ms (resulting in the clearing of the messages) would be trivial... albeit, a little dirty.

The alternative, is to add the ability to delete a single or multiple user messages, this would entail passing the actual messages ID around... which is a whole different story.

its possible to have a 1ns mute actually (a side-effect of the chat using 64bit ints for timestamps, nanosecond resolution yeay)
