build error on rust nightly about eyeliner

Since the Cargo.tomls of crates that are components of Servo do not specify a git commit of other crate Git repo crates, it is necessary to piggy back on the Cargo.lock of Servo. To do so, copy the Cargo.lock file from the servo repo to the project that you are compiling, then try building. An example of this was recently added to the Travis CI config:

I guess more my problem is installing the node package usually fails.
is there anything that can be done there to make it a bit more reliable?
