GCC 9 and newer is currently required. GCC 8 might work, but everything below is likely to fail due to missing features in the OpenMP and/or Fortran standard implemented.

DFT-D4 3.4.0 is currently compiled with GCC 5.3, using the patch linked below
While I recommend to upgrade GCC, it is possible to create working versions with older GCC versions using a minimal patch and the patch will probably be updated for future releases to support Windows on conda-forge.
