KiwiComics is a manga reader for the iPhone. It features:

It’s semi-famous with over 10.000 downloads a month .
You have total control as the license gives you permission to fork your own code if you are not happy with my decisions.

How to start programming for KiwiComics

1. Install xcode and the iPhone API (3.0 or above) and see to it that it can program for jailbroken iphones.
2. Install git and create a github account to fork KiwiComics the original version.
3. Code away!
4. Send the changes back to me or release it yourself

License

As long as you don’t make money on my code and also link to my webpage in your app, you are free to fork my code to make your own reader. My hope is that there will be more free iphone manga readers out there because of this.

Updated favorites are not saved?

I have just one problem when I update my Favorites Manga for new chapter, the date disappears for all Manga who were update.
Then I can read the new chapter but if I relaunch the app I must re-update my manga because nothing is saved and this for all my favorite manga :(
If I have understood you correctly then you have a list of favorites. When you click on the update button you get the new release dates. If you relaunch the app then you will once again have the old release dates?
Yes.

I can update but when I relaunch the app, I always have those same chapter that when I have Installed the App for the first Time (no update)

It’s the same if I reinstall the App

Not working in Cydia

Something is wrong with the control file:

It works in Rock but not Cydia.

Crash when switching between chapters

Users are reporting crashes when switching between chapters.
