Create docker images for 1.4 release and CI process for testing future RC releases. about docker-flink

Thanks for your interest, @Drocsid. I also think it would be a good idea to integrate Docker images into the release process at some point, but as it is, I'm not really involved in it. Would you mind emailing the Flink User mailing list with this suggestion?

As far as the 1.4 images, now that Hadoop is an optional dependency, I'd really like to publish a base, Hadoop-free image, and then include the usual Hadoop matrix of downstream images as well. For now though, it should be fine to just build them like normal, so I'll submit a PR to this repo. Feel free to comment on it.

It sounded like a positive response regarding the CI process. Are we going to see 1.5-SNAPSHOT containers or 1.5-RC containers before 1.5 is released? Is there a JIRA to track this?
