This is now enabled by default in the latest image. Please test it and let me know if it works out of the box now!

@hellodword In the example by @IridiumXOR he starts calc.exe (the calculator) by this command:
xfreerdp /u:MY_USERNAME /p:MY_PASSWORD /app:program:"C:\\Windows\\System32\\calc.exe" /v:WINDOWS IP
So if you replace calc.exe by notepad.exe it should work. But I never tried it myself, I only added the registry key to allow it.

Very interesting discovery! I will include this registry setting in the unattended XML files in the next version. If you want you can also submit it as a pull-request.
