I never seen this error before, but from a quick Google search, it seems that this will happen if there were too many failed attempts to enter the password?

Can you remember doing anything like that?

@kroese Actually that's the thing, it doesn't have a password set I used the container as it is, it was working for the past few days (less that 30) now its just showing this error

Very strange!! There is also a (hidden) Administrator account which has the password: "password". So if you can login to that one, then you can reset the password for Docker from there.

Normally when you connect via RDP, you can specify the username and password.

Anyway, according to this article: https://mangohost.net/blog/fixing-the-referenced-account-is-currently-locked-out-error-in-windows-10/ the default timeout for this lockout is 30 minutes. So it should have fixed itself by now. Can you check if the error disappeared?

@kroese

  1. I've tried rdp but it's not working throwing the same error.
  2. And no even after this much time it still not working..

@iamarpitpatidar I think you can go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RemoteAccess\Parameters\AccountLockout

and there you can change MaxDenials and the lockout timeout values.
