taskdep's Issues

Zooming

Implement zooming in and out to scale.

Organize code into maintainable modules

Didn't bother keeping things organized while I was trying out ideas. Now things basically work, so its a good time to get organized before adding more complex features and styles.

Implement downloadable graph

Since I don't want to implement a persistent backend right now (or ever) it would be useful to be able to download the graph in some form:

  • An image: PDF? SVG? This wouldn't allow future editing, but would at least allow you to look at it.
  • A file representation of the nodes/edges that could be re-uploaded into the editor for continued work.

Implement node weight calculation for top-to-bottom layout

I've already created custom upward and downward forces that use node weights to pull heavier items to the top.

Now need to dynamically assign the cardinality of each nodes subtree as its weight whenever the graph is modified to lay out the dependency graph from top to bottom.
