• From the code button select download zip.
• unzip to your computer.
• ensure that the unzipped folder is called vtl_gen

Adding to your application

To use the Vtl Data Generator simply copy the vtl_gen folder to the modules directory in a Trongate Framework based application.

One in your application navigate to your BASE_URL / vtl_gen

What does the Vtl Data Generator do

Currently you can

• create fake data in the tables in your application database
• delete data from the tables in your application database
• create indexes on columns in the tables in your application database
• delete indexes that you have created with the Vtl Data Generator
• export a script to recreate the tables of your application's database
