editor segfaults on Linux about surrealengine

The editor is not remotely usable as an editor at this time. Its main purpose right now is to test some UI framework things, which is why it has that hardcoded font path (not a viable solution in the long run).

About the general status of the project: you can sort of play the game at the moment, but due to issues in the physics calculations, bot behavior and spawn locations the game isn't really playable at all.

well, yes, it's not playable, but it's for sure further along than the README implies
I gather that the editor is not supposed to dereference NULL pointers though?

Yep, it isn't supposed to crash with that null pointer. Not sure why that is happening - I pushed a fix for it so it no longer should crash on that at least.

From what I've seen over checking the source code, it is not a real toolbar, it is just a single line of text.

Yes, the editor is basically just a mock up currently.
