Strange. This doesn't happen for me. Indeed, it shouldn't happen because preventDefault
is called on the keydown event. Does it happen on all sites? What OS and version of chrome are you running?
from jetzt.
Hi,
It happens on the Online Demo page but also on any other page.
See this screencast: https://mediacru.sh/X4uokncHsqBV
I am using Chromium 33.0.1750.146-1 on Arch Linux 64Bit.
from jetzt.
I have the same setup (although not sure about chromium version) at home so I'll investigate the problem when I get in tonight. Thanks for your feedback.

Chrome 33 doesn't have this problem, at least no on OSX and I assume other OSes.
from jetzt.
How is that possible that the issue does not persist on Chrome but Chromium? Chrome is based on Chromium.
from jetzt.
I know, just telling it like it is. May be more of an OS problem maybe.

I can't reproduce the problem on my Arch 64 chromium 33.0.1750.146 setup. If you can figure out a fix, I'll be happy to merge it in, but without being able to reproduce the problem, there's not much I can do. Sorry.

I could trace down the issue which appears if used in combination with the SmoothScroll-Vimium extension:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/smoothscroll-vimium/amecmmgjafghmnldaecfnhnkjeibgmjm
Is there anything we can do to make both compatible with each other?
from jetzt.
Just pulled the recent code and the issue is resolved. Thanks!
One last remark. Is it normal that I have to press escape twice to actually quit jetzt?
