So, in order to get around this kind of thing, we need a way to disable all other keyboard event listeners for the duration of jetzt's being open. I have no idea how to do that, but will investigate in the morning unless someone sends a pull request between now and then.

I think during running of jetzt, you should focus some element, and listen on that element for key events. There (for not letting it bubbleing up) you should prevent all default behaviours. So somethign like

e.preventDefault();
return false;

I think I've fixed this now, but couldn't get mashable to switch page with arrow keys even without jetzt running. Can you confirm whether it is fixed? Thanks.

yes, the current version seems to fix that.
actually the info about mashable was wrong.
But I found one where you can test this one as well.
