Lets keep new protocol requests in #22 for now, please, so that we have number a manageable number of tickets.

We're looking for ways to make things more modular inside the agent. One .so per protocol (like one would to a typical C application) is not possible due to golang limitations. One golang package per protocol seems a bit overkill at the moment. We are, however, working now on having output "plugins" which will be more generic and that will reduce the things one has to typically write for a new protocol to a single .go file.

Sorry, I thought having separate tickets would make it easier to track what will/might/won't be implemented :)

@packetbeat It would be possible to pull out each protocol to separate plugins. I thinks one could look into how Packer does it.

A good statring point is to read Packer - plugin/client.go

It would be great to have support for oracle protocol.
