@maennchen we support map literals in main. I will create a new issue to add drop_nil to lists.

I believe it is a good idea. LazySeries could find maps and convert them into literals recursively.

drop_nil in a mutate is no-no though I think. You can run a filter later on though.

@josevalim I had the same reaction, but I think they were using drop_nil on the inner list. So, the resultant series is the same length but each list-element is of a different length.

Exactly. Polars has polars.DataFrame.drop_nulls as well as polars.Expr.drop_nulls

It should be trivial to implement on Explorer.Series.

Yep, fully in support of this and drop_nil on the inner list should be absolutely fine.
