Thanks for the detailed report @charlesfries!

The bug has to be found somewhere between the VSCode extension you use (vscode-ember I assume) and this plugin.

ember-template-lint by itself doesn't support linting js / ts files (at least not as of today). So, I think the editor extension parses the ts file to find hbs snippets (and then lints them).

I have tried to reproduce this issue - with no luck (it is hard for me I'm not a VSCode user). Could you try to post in vscode-ember to get a second look?

I have the same issue but I use neovim with the ember lang server and this plugin.
