Hi @svdbaan

That is not a bug, no, but what you describe is indeed correct. The reason is that empymod.dipole models dipoles, whereas the Ward and Hohmann figures you mention are for loops.

The right function to use is empymod.loop, which is made for loops. The loop function does internally exactly what you describe, to obtain the results for loops instead of dipoles.
