I'd be happy to see this. If someone can provide a well maintained library that works with the golang.org/x/net/html package, then it'd be relatively trivial to add.

Hi, both Gokogiri and XPath provides xpath parsing for Golang though the XPath package supports a smaller subset of the XPath specification compared to Gokogiri

Gokogiri provides bindings to LibXML. I'd like pup to remain dependency-less :)

xmlpath is for xml, but has some support for HTML. However it can only select the text between elements rather than the elements themselves. It would be impossible to recreate the HTML from a selection a posteriori.
