Note we found a workaround - if we replace our ng-switch with ng-show/hide, everything seems to work ok, as ng-show/hide don't create new scopes.

@kornysietsma I actually ran into this exact same issue, However your solution would not work for me because I was using this within a directive.

What I ended up doing ( possibly not the most elegant solution) was to create a new module in ng-table & create an observer that would push a call back to a function within my controller once those parameters were changed.

Hey guys, was solved?

I'm trying to use it with the alternative syntax controllerAs (vm = this)

I found a workaround to make it works, but would good if it was solved
