The anniversary update adds some very useful functionality to Task View. With the update you get the ability to show a specific window on all desktops. Besides TaskView, many other things got better with the update so everyone really should get the update. What is preventing you from updating? I can't think of any good reason for a desktop user not to update.

Enterprise environments. The >100k people company I work for uses a Windows 10 from 2015 (two years behind). Let's say they are a bit hesitant to update. It's not something the employees have influence on. This to answer your question.
I got here because your tool wasn't working for me (W10 build 1511). Pity, because I like the functionality it provides. I understand you don't want to support all old versions.
Fortunately I can still use the key shortcut windows-tab, tab, cursor left/right, enter.

@nicolasdejong
Can you check if an app I made works for you? I just want to know if I need to make modifications.

I checked zVirtualDesktop which is awesome! (if it would work on my machine, that is)

Apparently a lot changed since build 1511. I understand you don't want to support old Windows versions that are used by an ever smaller fraction of people. Still a pity I can't use it. Hope a Windows update won't be too long away for us left-behinds.

First off, thanks for the feedback.I don't think Pin window exists in your version so that would explain why those hotkeys don't work.
I'm surprised that "Bring All Windows Here" doesn't work, but now that I think about it, it checks if a window is pinned so not to try and move that window. Since your version of Windows doesn't support pinning then it makes sense it would not work for this function.
I don't understand why other hotkeys aren't working for you, but I will investigate it.
Are you running an enterprise version of Windows. If not, then why don't you download and perform the update manually? You can use the below link for that if you aren't running an Enterprise version.

Can't update. I don't have the user rights. Enterprise environment. That's how it goes unfortunately.
