What is the error?

Is the wordpress container running?

Did you check the log file?

Please update with some logs from your wordpress and the web proxy (nginx-web).

It seems like the letsencrypt could not kill (or restart) the web container. I restarted both and it worked :)

Although i keep having an error on Wordpress that the server has no mail() activated ... gotta look onto how to that with Docker...

The web servers does not restart... they just keep it running the services are restarted automaticatly inside the container, after nginx files are updated.

if you please post your docker logs wordpress....

Do you have your domain name asserted to your ip address? can you do ping on your domain and returns your ip?

My bad @evertramos, really sorry 🙏 to be that confusing, my english is not very sharp today.

Let me clarify : i did a docker restart mynginx-webcontainer and same with the letsencrypt container and it resolved my first issue.

Defining an IP in my docker-compose keeps returning me an error though but as you said 0.0.0.0 works well too

Then once Worpress was coming up as intended at my domain (and properly redirected to the https:// domain), i had errors in my websites that mentionned that mail() was not activated on my server.

So, i wonder, how to do that for an infrastructure run with Docker

Sorry again for my not very clear messages 😖

hello @Julianoe,

Not a problem! I am not native english anyway....

I think I understand.

You would not need to restart your environment... It would update in a few moments.

Regarding the funcions in your wordpress, you could use a docker file, update everything you need and then restart your container with you new configuration.

You could log in into your container through bash, install, test it and then create your Dokerfile with everything you will require.

I will close the Issue, but we can keep wokring on that until you get it through.
