Clean trailing whitespaces in user submission or at least warn about it before submission about cli

I'm a bit wary of automatically deleting whitespace, but having a flag that does so might be useful, and a warning could also be good.

This isn't something that I feel strongly needs to be in the CLI, but if a number of people think it is a good idea, then I'm all for it.

I suggest that we leave this issue open for a month and to if anyone else feels strongly for or against this idea.

It's been two months, and nobody has weighed in. I still think this is a good idea.

It's a fairly low priority, so I can't guarantee when I'll get to it. Of course, if someone else gets to it before I do, I will gladly accept the pull request!

I've decided to not do this. If there is a desire to automatically provide this sort of feedback, let's incorporate it into the new, experimental static analysis stuff.
