Trouble adding components about express-vue

For what its worth...I went through the code. The only way to get components to be read was to set it to the following:

app.set('vue', {
rootPath: __dirname + '/views/',
layoutsDir: 'layouts/',
componentsDir: __dirname+'/views/components/',
defaultLayout: 'main'
});

as opposed to your example code:
app.set('vue', {
rootPath: __dirname + '/views/',
layoutsDir: 'layouts/',
components: 'components/',
defaultLayout: 'main'
});

Now it finds the components.

Yeah I had a feeling it was going to be a problem with how your setting it up.

Folder structure is important. And the config has changed a little which is reflected in the read me.

@danmademe I am having this same issue as well and my config is set properly.

app.set('vue', {
    componentsDir: __dirname + '/components',
    defaultLayout: 'layout'
});
