If it does not have a stack property, then it is not an instance of Error
. Unless you suggest a fix, I don't know what the error looks like. Can you show like a util.inspect
of that error?

I forced the handler to console.error the err directly when debugging, this was the result:
{ [Error: 'ui/activity-bar.less' wasn't found]
type: 'File',
message: '\'ui/activity-bar.less\' wasn\'t found',
filename: '../resources/styles/ui.less',
index: 44,
line: 3,
callLine: NaN,
callExtract: undefined,
column: 0,
extract:
[ '@import "ui/nav-bar";',
'@import "ui/activity-bar";',
'@import "ui/badge";' ] }
How about falling back the standard toString() of the error – which usually includes the error's .message
in it?

Yes, I am going to do that; basically I'm going to make sure to mimic the behavior of what happens when you pass that error to throw
and it is displayed on your console. I just wanted to see what that error from less.js even was to know that I would have it covered :)
If you want to see what that error would look like, try console.error(String(err))
in your debugging.
