Avoiding "Backtrace omitted" message and associated lines about color-eyre

Awesome, thanks! In case it is of interest to others, the fix was to change

    color_eyre::install()?;

to

    color_eyre::config::HookBuilder::default()
        .display_env_section(false)
        .install()?;

Is there a way to configure color-eyre to prevent the last three lines from being printed?

Yes there is ^_^. https://docs.rs/color-eyre/0.5.11/color_eyre/config/struct.HookBuilder.html#method.display_env_section should hopefully be what you need
