Hi @danvaida - I seem to have missed both your posts to the mailing list and this issue. I'm not quote sure I follow how and where you're setting thesudo: yes ? The role uses whatever the playbook has...

Hi @ramondelafuente.
Appologies for the late reply. I am using something like the following:

 post_tasks:

    - name: checking nginx configuration
      command: sudo service nginx configtest
      register: result
      when: web is defined

If I try to use 'sudo: yes', it doesn't get passed for some weird reason.

So the post_tasks are added to the playbook that uses the deploy role?
This sounds more Ansible related than the project_deploy role...

What happens when you run the same playbook without the deploy role?

Yes. Indeed... now it seems to work just fine with ansible/ansible@6598c83

Was probably something related to that particular release of Ansible that I was running back then.
Can be closed.
Thanks.
