Generating BuildConfig.java function is missing about buck

You can write this yourself using bucks genrule to generate the required file.

The catch is that you have to use genfile to find the file and add it back to the sources and combine the lists, since glob returns an array and srcs expects an array.

  out = 'BuildConfig.java',
  cmd = 'bash -c \'echo "package com.my.package; public final class BuildConfig { public final static boolean DEBUG = false; }" > $OUT \' ',

android_library(
  name = 'my-library',
  srcs = [genfile('BuildConfig.java')] + glob(['src/**/*.java']),

    ':BuildConfig',
