FBRetainCycleDetector could definitely be used to do that. I'm not sure how much effort it would take to make it do that for you, @Gricha what would you say?

This is possible. We do not have that existing here, but the implementation could be developed. It would be a little bit different though - in order to do that properly we would have to grab a snapshot of current object graph and build all references out of it.

For example we could have that as lldb command in chisel. The way it would work is it would go through all references in memory in halted state and cache the graph. Once you have graph cached you could point all incoming and outgoing references.

I've experimented with it for a little bit and it's possible. I'll try to revive some of this work and see if it leads anywhere.
