fbvector of std:maps is crashing about folly

Indeed. This is a real bug. Thank you!

We are assuming that std::map is relocatable (movable around using memcpy()), but it's not; it has a _Rb_tree member which has a pointer to itself. The fix is to remove

FOLLY_ASSUME_FBVECTOR_COMPATIBLE_4(std::map);
FOLLY_ASSUME_FBVECTOR_COMPATIBLE_3(std::set);

from folly/Traits.h.

And as far as getting folly to build more smoothly, that's in the works. We use a custom build system at Facebook (and we build folly in the same tree as a lot of our other C++ stuff, with scripts to export to github), and so the autoconf stuff is an afterthought, and often goes unmaintained.
