Browserify's browser directives in package.json are ignored about jest

did you come up with a workaround for this, I'm hitting the same issue

Having the same issue here with 'backbone-model' and its dependency 'backbone-events' which is translated to "green-mesa-backbone-events" using the browser property.

Running the tests crash because 'backbone-events' can't be found

Any workaround?

The workaround I used was a manual mock of superagent (http://facebook.github.io/jest/docs/manual-mocks.html)

superagent should be unmocked or use a manual mock as suggested.

Can this be reopened, I am trying to mock the server (using sinon.fakeServer but because jest is resolving the wrong file XMLHttpRequests aren't being used.
