Yeah there is an italic node after, you can tell from the flags being 20 for the node. Looks like a bug in formatText

I've found the cause for this issue. It's a recent regression that came about from the change to getTargetRanges. When entering content into an empty text, getTargetRanges doesn't seem to want to target the empty text node, but rather the previous text node.
