Wait, maybe it's working

Okaaaaay, so after doing the below, I re-enabled the 4.27.8 extension. I also popped it out of the browser instead of docking. Now it might be working?

I am not sure what part of that flow might have fixed it -- perhaps disabling/re-enabling the extension. Strange it didn't work on a fresh install in the VM Chrome though.

For additional data, I tried this on a fresh Windows 11 Evaluation VM (Hyper-V) that I sometimes use for labs. Same result!

So it's not just my machine. Maybe it could be GPU.

Using latest AMD Radeon: 22.6.1 on an R9 390.

Older versions?

I tried loading an unpacked 4.25.0 extension version and same result as well...

I can confirm this issue; I’ve been observing it on two MacBooks for a few months (or maybe longer).

There’s probably something off with the canvas rendering code – if you manage to force some part of the UI to rerender (eg by typing into the Search field), it does render.
