UseEffect only works on localhost but not in production about react

Don't you think useEffect is used at the top of the component instead of using in the middle of the component.

It's too soon to conclude that there's any problem with useEffect:

1. If upload it to production it doesn't run and doesn't generate any errors means that you don't see that console.log(props) message in the console, that may happen for many reasons, e.g. you uploaded it incorrectly / your component isn't actually rendered at all (problem somewhere in parent component - you can add console.log directly in InvoiceCAR) / an extension or something overrode console.log and is filtering messages / ...
2. Your subTotal, ..., state fields are computed only from initial props (because the effect is run only on mount so it sees props from the 1st render only). So if during mount your props.order.orderProducts is empty/undefined, your subTotal, ..., will remain 0 forever.

If you can offer a minimal, reproducible example then we can take a look. Otherwise, this sounds unlikely to be a bug in React.
