open "configure.ac" in redex's main folder and replace
AC_CHECK_LIB([double-conversion],[ceil],[],[AC_MSG_ERROR(
with
AC_CHECK_LIB([double-conversion],[main],[],[AC_MSG_ERROR(
from redex.

I've fixed the double-conversion issue on master, so shouldn't need this if you pull latest. Thanks for reporting it!

error: Please install double-conversion library
I installed double-conversion this way:
git clone https://github.com/google/double-conversion.git
cd double-conversion
cmake -DBUILD_SHARED_LIBS=ON .
make
sudo make install
osx 10.11.4
