The 000XXX.log files are WAL files, while the LOG.old files are information logs. The former accumulated potentially because there are more and more unflushed data in memtables, while the latter accumulated just because as db process runs longer, more info logs accumulated.
Set keep_log_file_num
manages the info logs to keep. If you don't want too many WAL files to accumulate, you can manually flush the DB.

Thanks a lot!
By the way, whether manually flush after each query will cause extra overheads?
