Thanks for the heads up Kevin.
zstd
is more appropriate for programmers (and that's also the name of the binary).
If the intention is to target non-programmers, I believe Zstandard is more understandable, and can be preferred.
Also : note that current compressed format is not yet final, so it should be mentioned somewhere, like "experimental" or something like that.

as the package name. I'll also note in the Readme.debian that this is not a finalised format.

Just to let you know, the debian package has been accepted into unstable. This means that it should make it into the next debian release.
