@yuzi-co: you mentioned lyra2h before. I wonder how popular is that algorithm? The only coin I can find is HPP and HPP seems kind of inactive. lyra2h has a 4x larger matrix than lyra2 and even nvidia miners cannot mine it fast.

It's currently the only coin wit this algo, and a very low profile one. The HPP devs are active, but they don't push marketing.
I believe they specifically made the algo the way that GPU and CPU mining speeds are kinda similar, but maybe you can make it faster :)

@yuzi-co I copied the code from https://github.com/djm34/sgminer-msvc2015. I didn't get chance to optimize it using gcn asm, and I don't think that will help. So the performance should be the same as https://github.com/djm34/sgminer-msvc2015, except it will run on Linux too.
