Good question. I think the answer is no, the code in this repo probably won't work for ARM. ARM is a link register architecture, so leaf functions won't have a return address on the stack. And accessing the link register from userland might be difficult. That being said, if anybody wants to send a patch for it, I'd be happy to look at it.
