It would help to allow the Win95 image to be mounted as CD-ROM, so I can install the TCP/IP Stack manually. However, including it makes sense for so many other issues as well ;-)

So netscape navigator is installed but I still can't get to the internet, is this normal?

@StanLindsey that depends equally much on whether or the GitHub website supports Navigator-era browsers I'm afraid... 🤣

Want to give it a try? Here's how you'd do that:

1. Grab Windows 95: https://winworldpc.com/library/operating-systems
2. Install in QEMU
3. Setup a WebSocketsProxy - it can be used by passing the network_relay_url option to V86Starter. The url must point to a running WebSockets Proxy. The source code for WebSockets Proxy can be found at https://github.com/benjamincburns/websockproxy.

So that should work in theory but I haven't given it a go!

could this be implemented into the electron app somewhow? Where it can setup the proxy by walking the user through the steps of doing so?
