It is only allowed on inputs of type text, email or password. You have it on type number.

Ah, in that case, we have a specific part of that demo page that says to not use politespace with input type=number. It is also noted to not use this script for number inputs on the Readme. Since this is due to a bugs in webkit/blink browsers, we can open an issue for how to handle number inputs in the future, when the bugs are fixed.

While pattern is not a part of the politespace plugin, we did use pattern on the demo under an input type="number". I’ve committed a modified version of the demo to the repo with your suggestion. Thanks!
