Thanks for logging this issue @hmswarnau

what browser are you using? And is there any javascript errors on the page?

There is no javascript error.

Hi there, I do support for FooPlugins. I just downloaded that theme (2.1.12) and tested with FooGallery 1.1.8. both with the Theme Extras plugin activated and deactivated, and was able to add media and publish and embed into a post/page both times without an issue. There must be something else going on in your install. I'm not sure how to help further without being able to reproduce the problem. @bradvin Any other thoughts?

ye - next step would be for us to login to your site and try to debug the issue live.
@hmswarnau is the site live? would you give us access?

I have logged into your site and looked into the problem. It appears that for some reason, your images are returning from the media manager UI with no thumbnail size, and that is why nothing is being added to your gallery. I have opened a question on stack exchange trying to get some help from the community, as I cannot reproduce the issue on my side : http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/160225/media-manager-selectection-state-does-not-have-thumbnail-size

I experienced the same problem. It was caused by uploading images when php5-gd was not installed. Any image uploaded after installed php5-gd works.
