• What you were doing when this happened?
• Whether you're implementing a native or hybrid app?
• What version of the SDK you're using?
• Whether you have a reasonable expectation that your connect was not, in fact, legitimately lost during your use case? That's quite a large query to be posting from a mobile device, for instance.

I was doing a :

SFRestRequest *request = [[SFRestAPI sharedInstance] requestForQuery:(self.querys)[self.currentQuery]];
[[SFRestAPI sharedInstance] send:request delegate:self];

The query I send is about 9963 chars, less than the 10.000 limit.

Does it ever work? Or is it an error that occurs sporadically? Does it work on a simulator with a dedicated connection?

It works In a dedicated connection in the sim.... sometimes.
Do you recommend me to reduce the length of the query?
What could be the limit from a mobile device of the length of the query to evade this error if is caused by the lenght of the query?

Just use a large (closer to the 10.000 limit) soql query in a

SFRestRequest *request = [[SFRestAPI sharedInstance] requestForQuery:QUERY];

[[SFRestAPI sharedInstance] send:request delegate:self];

The solution is to avoid making this long SOQLs, and check the length of the SOQL before using.
