Error finding repositories using g8 on mac about giter8

Are you perhaps behind a proxy. This works for me.

Maybe we could add a flag for a verbose mode to log extra info.

weird, i have a clean install of version 0.4.0, i can clone the play-scala git repo, but i cant get g8 to find it? and this definitely worked a few days ago.

I did look for a verbose flag, since my only idea was that you tried to hit http://github.com and didn't follow the HTTP 301 to https://github.com

I am new to scala, co i couldn't readily find it in the code.

I uninstalled the brew version 0.4.0 and installed 0.4.5 using conscript and everything worked fine.
Is there any chance you could update the homebrew version?

oh. yea. totally prefer installing apps with conscript (cs). They will always be up to date. The brew recipe was a contribution I believe. We'd be happy to get a patch for users that install it using homebrew. I don't really use that method.

Ok, i have a working formula by tweaking the one for 0.4.0. How do i submit it to you? Or do i submit it to Homebrew somehow?

fork the brew repo, make your changes to https://github.com/mxcl/homebrew/blob/master/Library/Formula/giter8.rb and submit a pull request
