Qt Creator build failure about qtusb

Tnx. It is 5.9.x so not totally ancient but I'll try on 5.15 (I guess is the current 5.x one?) and report. It will take some time so please don't close too early :-)

Can you try with a more recent Qt version?
Looks like a qmake bug.

I gave it a try. Added manually /usr/local/bin. pkg-config seem to get through now but I still am unable to build due to:

[…]/QtUsb/src/usb/qusbdevice_p.h:9: error: 'libusb-1.0/libusb.h' file not found
In file included from /Users/silverdr/sources/QtUsb/src/usb/qusbdevice.cpp:2:
[…]/QtUsb/src/usb/qusbdevice_p.h:9:10: fatal error: 'libusb-1.0/libusb.h' file not found
#include <libusb-1.0/libusb.h>
         ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Shall check more thoroughly later.

This still looks like a macos/qmake bug, have you had more time to look into it?
You can try to replace #include <libusb-1.0/libusb.h> with #include <libusb.h>

I've fixed the includes for MacOS. Builds fine now (with the pkg-config path added to the project)
